Two industry outsiders and lifelong event lovers set out to design a smarter system built for the pace and complexity of live events.
Unlike traditional ticketing companies, Tixr began with a fan-focused mindset, addressing what our founders saw as a fundamental problem: while live events were exceptional, the ticketing experience was not.

We didn’t come from the industry. That gave us the freedom to question everything—and build for how live events actually work today, not how they worked a decade ago.
Early designs, product MVPs, and internal tools began to reflect the core principles behind our vision for live events ticketing: flexibility, control, and elevated experience.
Our first event went live: Pusha T at Anthem in Nashville. That show marked more than just a ticket sale—it proved Tixr could handle real-world live events and set the foundation for everything that followed.
Built for fans, the app made it easier to browse events, purchase tickets, and access them on the go. With a clean interface and mobile-first design, it set the stage for a better, more flexible ticketing experience.
Backstage launched as the command center for organizers—a centralized platform to create and manage events, track sales, and analyze data. It laid the foundation for how our partners interacted with the Tixr ecosystem behind the scenes.
Organizers across sports, music, nightlife, and fan conventions turned to Tixr to power live experiences.
Launched as a smarter alternative to “sold out,” Waitlist let fans request tickets for unavailable inventory—turning missed opportunities into actionable data. Waitlist continues to be a powerful tool for gauging interest, surfacing patterns, and re-engaging fans the moment tickets become available.
One of the first peer-to-peer tools in ticketing, Rewards gave fans a reason to promote events to their networks—earning perks while driving real results for our partners.
Ticketing the world’s largest LAN party in Jönköping, Sweden marked a key step in scaling for global events and expanding our esports footprint.
Tixr Studio redefined backend event management with intuitive tools for real-time inventory, analytics, and more. Whether behind a laptop or working on site, organizers could now control every aspect of their event from anywhere.
Tixr Play, our premium streaming platform for virtual events, reached a global audience as KISS lit up the stage for a one-night-only comeback on New Year’s Eve. Broadcast live from Dubai with pyrotechnics, 360-degree views, and over 50 cameras, the show set a new bar for events at a time when live entertainment needed a way forward.
Our dynamic reserved seating solution was designed to reflect the real-life layout of any venue, from sprawling arenas to intimate theaters. Organizers could now create branded, interactive maps, sell season tickets, manage inventory with precision, and configure complex layouts like campgrounds and racetracks.
From hybrid formats and drive-in concerts to the return of large-scale festivals and sports, we helped partners meet a new moment.
The Danbury Hat Tricks hit the ice with Tixr, paving the way for major sports momentum and partnerships like the San Jose Earthquakes.
Our team doubled in size. Sports emerged as a breakout vertical. Global infrastructure expanded. From Bell Bank Park to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Sundream, we powered ambitious projects with speed, stability, and flexibility.
Placing us at #25 among the fastest-growing private marketplaces in the world, the ranking reflected the scale, traction, and impact of our platform.
Our emerging UK team secured its first partnership with state-of-the-art brewery and live music venue in East London, Signature Brew.
Our UX3 launch let organizers sell more than just tickets—merchandise, hotel packages, parking, hospitality, and more—in a modern, streamlined flow. It marked a shift away from traditional ticketing and toward a more holistic event commerce experience.
