We all know it’s been a year of restrictions, empty arenas, pitch-black stages, and silence where we once experienced live music.
As this tumultuous year comes to a close, Tixr has been working with one of their newest event clients around the clock to give 2020 a proper New Year's Eve send off. In collaboration with City Drive Studios’ Landmarks Live, Tixr is thrilled to announce that on December 31st live music fans around the world will get the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime live-streamed performance by the biggest band on earth, KISS and together will kiss 2020 goodbye!

Live from the Atlantis Resort in Dubai, KISS members Demon, Starchild, Spaceman, and Catman will rock out of 2020 and roll into 2021. While the show will be broadcast live, timed to midnight in Dubai, ALL of the streaming packages allow a replay option so that fans can re-watch timed to their own midnight festivities. The event, which will use all of Tixr’s tech stack and latest innovations, will be the first truly global 360º hybrid live stream show performed in front of a COVID-screened live audience in Dubai, with secure Livestream and OnDemand video options. With Tixr’s entertainment commerce platform, fans can also buy premium hospitality packages, upgraded fan experiences, exclusive merch and more. KISS 2020 Goodbye will be the premier New Year's Eve experience worldwide.
The event has put nearly 400 people back to work for the first time during the live event industry’s most difficult year yet, and in doing so, it will use biometric crew wristbands to ensure the safety of staff and audience members.
“It has been a very complex show to put together, but we are happy to bring the world something of this size at a time when it is needed the most,” says Daniel E Catullo III, the creator, director, and executive producer of Landmarks Live.
