The Sturgis Buffalo Chip®, presented by Progressive Insurance, has been the epicenter of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally since its establishment in 1981, bringing together music and motorcycle fans across all 50 states and over 20 countries. It remains one of the world’s most televised and longest-running independent music festivals. 2023 headliners announced so far include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Whiskey Myers, and George Thorogood and the Destroyers, with more to be revealed in the coming weeks.

As the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s new exclusive commerce platform, if it’s for sale, you’ll find it on Tixr: campground admission, VIP concert upgrades, legendary motorcycle rides, tent camping, RV camping, cabin rentals, limited-edition merchandise, plus all additional amenities and services available for guests. Our premium, white-labeled user interface puts the Buffalo Chip brand first and helps fans visualize what they’re actually carting.
For the first time, guests can reserve the perfect campsite from an interactive custom rendering of the grounds with Tixr Arena, rather than select accommodations from a list. On top of a more modern purchase experience, guests can tap into our built-in, automated layaway solution for interest-free payments with less than a 0.5% breakage rate. Sturgis enthusiasts can also earn perks and prizes for influencing friends to purchase campsites and passes via Tixr Rewards, our proprietary fan-to-fan referral program, by sharing their personal links with friends via text or social media.
