As the curtain falls on 2024, I find myself reflecting on yet another groundbreaking year for Tixr. It’s remarkable to think how far we’ve come since two industry outsiders decided to build something new. This year, we didn’t just maintain our momentum — we put our foot on the gas, entering new markets and cementing our position as a leader in live entertainment commerce, beyond ticketing.
Our recognition in the top 10% of the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies was a powerful reminder of how far passion and innovation can take us. This achievement represents the incredible trust our partners place in us and the dedication of our team. It’s this same spirit that fueled our global growth and many other accomplishments this year we’re proud to look back on.
This year, we powered events in 27 countries, spanning destinations as varied as the United Kingdom, Spain, Cambodia, and New Zealand. Seeing our platform take root in these unique corners of the world reflects our unwavering vision of empowering organizers to bring their events to life.
In March, we officially launched our expansion into Canada under the leadership of industry vet Stéphane McGarry, recently recognized on Billboard Canada’s 2024 Power Players in Live list. From supporting world-class motorsports events like the 2025 Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada to partnering with iconic nightlife destinations like Stereo and Beachclub, these early successes set the stage for new opportunities across Canada’s live entertainment landscape.
Across the Atlantic, Tixr’s brand-new London office became the foundation for our European expansion under Stephanie Rosa-Bauer’s leadership. Top venues like Eden Ibiza and Egg London joined our roster of partners, alongside renowned events like Forbidden Forest, the Royal Windsor Horse Show, and Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
Our growth this year went beyond entering new markets — we also strengthened our team and deepened our impact across the industries we serve. We welcomed seasoned leader Steve Oberman as our new VP of Partnerships to bring fresh expertise to our mission, and added talented individuals across departments to fuel our mission of continuous innovation.
Sports continued to be a major area of focus, with new partners like World Wide Technology Raceway, the ATX Open, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, and several high-profile golf partnerships joining the Tixr family. Our expanding roster of large-scale sports properties across facilities, teams, and standalone events underscores how far our technology has come, handling complex events with ease while delivering a modern, fan-friendly experience.
Beyond sports, we expanded our presence in other key industries, including music venues and festivals, cultural events, and nightlife. With new partners like MOKB Presents, Magic of Lights, Wild Horse Pass, and Social House Entertainment, as well as the addition of VAI Resort — soon to be Arizona’s largest and boldest hotel, entertainment, and culinary destination — each of these partnerships highlights our commitment to supporting organizers as they push boundaries and deliver unforgettable experiences.
We think of Tixr as a live events operating system, rather than a ticketing platform, and innovation and agility are at the heart of everything we do. To that end, we spent the lion’s share of the year under the hood to support the biggest major league franchises. We kept busy on the mobile apps front, launching the Tixr Studio App for event management on the go and the fan-facing Tixr Android App to round out our suite of native Apps. From fan-driven Upgrades and Order Protection to faster Waitlist processing, we also released powerful enhancements to improve the fan experience and increase yield for our partners.
Next year is all about flexibility for fans — after they’ve purchased tickets. As we look ahead to 2025, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what our technology can power. With new tools, partnerships, and markets on the horizon, we’re excited to continue empowering organizers and elevating fan experiences. The possibilities for innovation are endless, and we’re ready to take the next steps toward creating an even more connected, modern, and impactful future for live events.
With gratitude,
Robert Davari
